We are looking to recruit a Adult Qualified Social Worker - EDT within the Social Care industry in Manchester area. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team that is growing its social worker staffing levels. The Children Qualified Social Worker - EDT vacancy in Rochdale will be for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities include:
  • Undertake assessments of need and produce support plans reflecting the needs and wishes of the individual.
  • Respond appropriately to all calls received after office hours, including weekends and bank holidays, when on duty.
  • Prioritise and delegate work in a timely manner appropriate to need.
  • Work independently, take responsibility for situations that arise out of hours, and collaborate with professionals from other agencies covering out-of-hours emergency services.
  • Maintain electronic case records for the individuals supported.
  • Conduct person-centred assessments as required by the Care Act (2014).
  • Perform assessments under the Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards (DoLS).
Experience preferred:
  • Post-qualifying experience as a Qualified Social Worker in the EDT team within the UK Social Care industry.
Minimum Requirements:
  • SWE Registration
  • 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
