Protecting Vulnerable Adults: Adults Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding Team (Derby)

Are you a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable adults? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Derby.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations into allegations of abuse and neglect of adults at risk.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including police, health professionals, and other social care providers, to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans to protect adults from harm and promote their safety and independence.
  • Provide support and guidance to families and carers of vulnerable adults.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Care England.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding is essential.
  • Excellent assessment, investigation, and report writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
