Essential criteria:
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Social Workers or Approved Mental Health Professionals to work in our Community Mental Health Teams. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in mental health and potential progression to AMHP practice.
You will work in integrated CMHTs covering a diverse demographic area, collaborating with other health professionals as part of the Bradford District Care Trust. This role offers the chance to work in an integrated team with various health professionals. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, service users, and professional partners are essential. Confidence in assessing and promoting risk management is also required.
The role involves working with individuals with complex mental health needs requiring input from health, social care, and voluntary services. A strong understanding of social issues affecting people with mental health needs is necessary.
We provide a supportive work environment with flexible working conditions, continuous professional development opportunities, regular reflective supervision, and an annual appraisal. Responsibilities include care coordination and Local Authority functions, using the Care Act to assess needs, recognize strengths, and consider safeguarding when concerns arise. The goal is to support community-based living for as long as possible. Candidates should have experience managing complex risks in the community to prevent deterioration of mental health.
