We seek an Assistant Team Manager (Social Worker) to join our Reigate and Banstead Locality Team. The team, based in The Woodhatch Centre, handles duties including assessing and reviewing residents of Reigate and Banstead. This management role involves direct line management of up to eight staff, covering other ATMs in their absence, and participating in rota duties such as Duty, CPMM, SBPRG, and weekly waiting list screening.

The Reigate and Banstead Locality Team is a high-performing team led by a senior and a team manager, supported by assistant team managers to ensure timely adult social care services to residents.
This role involves leading complex casework, applying legislation and best practices, guiding decision-making, managing risk, and supporting team development. As a safeguarding lead, you'll collaborate with senior colleagues to address practice concerns, supervise staff, foster partnerships, and contribute to organizational development, including budget management when necessary.
