Adults Advanced Practitioner – MASH & Peripatetic Role

We’re looking for an experienced Adults Advanced Practitioner to join Oldham Council’s frontline team on a full-time, hybrid basis.

You’ll initially be based in the Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), leading the screening and triage of safeguarding referrals. However, this is a peripatetic role, meaning you may be required to support other Adult Social Care (ASC) teams across the service as operational needs evolve.

Lead on complex Care Act assessments and safeguarding enquiries

Manage risk effectively and ensure statutory responsibilities are met

Work across multiple service areas to provide experienced practitioner input

Contribute to effective multi-agency working and timely decision making

Support team development and share best practice in safeguarding

Proven background in complex Care Act work and safeguarding in Adults Services

Confidence operating in fast-paced MASH or front door environments

Flexibility to work across teams as part of a peripatetic model

HCPC / Social Work England registration

Strong knowledge of legislation, policy and procedures in adult safeguarding
