Job description

We are aiming to speak with skilled & experienced Support Workers for young adults and adults who are ready & able to assist with a varied load case, all with varied complexities.

Our Workers will be expected to provide knowledge, experience, assistance & support to maintain a safe & stable environment, with the well-being of our service users at heart.

The Adults and Young Adults may be subjected to some/all of the below risk factors:

  • Domestic Abuse
  • Self-Harm
  • Absent Guardians
  • Mental Health
  • Living With Disabilities
  • Communication Barriers/Non-English Speakers
  • Isolation

Conflict resolution is crucial to this role. We need to ensure our workers are solution-driven, with great communication skills, to maintain a calm, professional & caring approach, whilst in hostile situations & environments.

You may be required to demonstrate to parents how things should be done, then support them until they can do these things on their own.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Valid UK Right To Work with 12+ Months Experience in a similar role
  • Full CV inc. Employment History (Any Breaks Longer Than 2 Weeks Must Be Accounted For)
  • Enhanced DBS (Vulnerable Children & Adults), Registered on the Update Service. (Carepro will aim to assist with this should you have any difficulty).
  • Five Years Practical Reference History
