Job Description:

Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals of all bands and specialties for long and short-term locum roles throughout the UK.

We are a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework. Currently, we are working with qualified Dysphagia-competent Speech & Language Therapists to find new opportunities within the Trusts in Northern Ireland.

We are recruiting on behalf of the South Eastern Trust for a Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist with HCPC registration and relevant Dysphagia training to work in Adult Services. The role involves part-time coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, initially for 3 months.

The salary starts at £27.45 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £28.52 thereafter.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy recognized by the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
• Registration with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists and HCPC
• Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification clinical experience, including 3 years with the relevant client group or 2 years full-time experience with communication and swallowing disorders
• Valid UK driving license and access to a car
• Right to Work in the UK
