Job Title: Adult Social Worker
Location: Welshpool
Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to join a Older People Team based in Welshpool.

  • Work as a Social Worker in the Older People Team North Powys based in the Welshpool area.
  • Collaborate closely with a friendly team and colleagues across health and social sectors.
  • Deliver strengths-based positive outcomes for people.
  • Drive around a rural area (essential requirement).
  • Enjoy challenges and possess good communication skills.
  • Exhibit good partnership working abilities.
  • Show enthusiasm for ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and outcomes for individuals and their families.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
  • Must be registered with Social Care Wales
  • Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car are often required for client visits.
  • The legal right to work in the UK
