Adult Social Worker Team Manager
Location: Bolton
Team: Community Mental Health
Rate: £42

We are looking for a Team Manager for a busy integrated community Mental Health team based in Bolton. Experience in a Team Manager role is essential as we need someone to hit the ground running to cover planned sickness of the current Team Manager. We would like to recruit ASAP to enable a smooth handover from the current Team Manager.

Essential Requirements for the Role:
  1. Must be an experienced Social Worker/Team Manager.
  2. Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and adaptable.
  3. Experience of managing an integrated mental health team.
  4. Sound knowledge of Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and the Care Act.
  5. Ability to provide good quality supervision to staff within the team.

The work varies day to day and will need a manager to efficiently manage work within the team ensuring close liaison with health colleagues. The team is made up of Nurses and Social Workers and is currently hosting a Think Ahead cohort – this has support from a Consultant Social Worker and Senior Social Worker along with Head of Service oversight/operational lead and brings a different dimension to the team and social work practice.
