Job Title: Social Worker Location:Wilshaw Lane, OL7 9QG, Tameside
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:30 Full time and 21 hours a week Part timeRate:£35 per hour
Tameside require two Social Workers for the mental Health Team, 1 Part time for 21hrs and 1 Full Time for 36hrs a week. They are looking for two new members to join the Adults’ Mental Health team, offering a pay rate of £35 per hour.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will provide a comprehensive social care service to adults of working age experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems within the community. As a Social Worker for the Adults’ Mental Health, you will also engage with various disciplines to promote a needs-based approach for all service users while fostering a partnership approach to service delivery. You will be developing clear support plans following Care Act assessments, completing funding applications, and managing legal requirements such as COPDOL, DoLS, 21a’s, and court reports. Additionally, you will build meaningful relationships with individuals often considered ‘difficult to engage’ and their families. Also, Provide support to carers in accordance with the Care Act and assisting children transitioning into Adult Mental Health services at the age of 18 is also a key responsibility.
