Please be aware this is a long-term temporary post to start ASAP.

Essential criteria:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

Adult safeguarding senior social worker required, reporting to the safeguarding practice lead. The successful candidates will support the delivery of adult safeguarding practice across the adult social care workforce.

The main areas of support include:

• PIPOT referrals
• Safeguarding advice and support to teams
• Supporting the TMs/Service manager when required
• Attending strategy meetings
• Supporting the embedding of good safeguarding practices and knowledge to frontline staff/teams

This is a full-time role, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:45 am to 4:30 pm.

Minimum requirements:

• A professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References for the last 5 years of employment
