Job Details

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The candidate must be an experienced social worker with a mental health background.

Core Tasks and Duties

1. Undertaking social care assessments and delivering timely care packages for hospital inpatients prior to discharge
2. Conducting mental capacity assessments, making BI decisions, and safeguarding as required
3. Understanding of Section 117, attending 117 meetings, ward rounds, and professional meetings
4. Participation in duty rota

Essential Criteria

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

Must Have

• A professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References for the last 5 years of employment
