Job summary

Tripod Partners is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join East Riding of Yorkshire Council in the Adults team. The post covers Kingfisher Lodge, HU18 1LP, on a temporary contract, with a focus on robust Adult Social Care practice and complex caseload management.

You will conduct Care Act assessments, risk assessments and safeguarding enquiries while promoting independence and person-centred planning. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Strong Adult Social Care experience.
• Experience completing Care Act assessments.
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act.
• Experience undertaking safeguarding enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Completing Care Act 2014 assessments and reassessments.
• Undertaking strengths-based assessments.
• Managing complex and varied caseloads.
• Developing and reviewing person-centred support plans.
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, choice and control.
• Completing risk assessments and risk management plans.
• Undertaking Mental Capacity Act assessments.
• Facilitating Best Interests meetings and decisions.
• Undertaking Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
• Arranging and reviewing care and support packages.
