Job Title: Adult Social Worker – Community Team – Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole

Location: Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole

Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in working with adults with long-term conditions. The successful candidate will have experience supporting adults with long-term conditions, ensuring their care needs are met. Responsibilities include handling Court of Protection cases, ensuring legal compliance and advocacy, conducting safeguarding duties, working with self-neglecting adults, and undertaking Care Act Assessments and Reviews.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional Qualification: Recognised qualification in social work (e.g., MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, CQSW).
  • Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience: Significant experience working with vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Understanding of legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to a car for client visits.
