Job Opportunity: Social Worker (Long Term Temporary)

Trafford Council is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join their integrated community service within the North Neighbourhood Team.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK

This is a long-term temporary position starting ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in social work assessments and interventions, including safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act and local policies.
• Participate in strengths-based assessments and adopt innovative ways of working.
• Secure appropriate funding in line with the Reshaping Trafford Policy.

Essential Criteria:

• Professional qualification in social work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS/Update service
• References for the last 5 years of employment
