Trafford Council is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join their integrated community service within the North Neighbourhood Team.

You will need a social work degree or qualification and at least 3 years of experience working in a statutory Adult Social Care service.

The team seeks an individual motivated to challenge current practices and enthusiastic about adopting strengths-based assessment.

A significant part of your role will involve engaging in informative and preventative conversations, including social work assessments and interventions, and securing appropriate funding in line with the Reshaping Trafford Policy.

You will also be expected to respond effectively to safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act and local policies and procedures.

Essential criteria:

• Degree in Social Work
• SWE Registration
• Right to work within the UK
