Job summary

A mental health services provider in London is seeking a Social Worker to join their Adult Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will provide person-centred support to adults with significant mental health challenges, working in collaboration with families and professionals. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Social Work and at least 1 year of post-qualification experience. This position offers flexible working options and a competitive hourly rate.

About the Team

This team focuses on providing person-centred support to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs. They work collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing. The social workers apply relevant legislation including the Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults framework, whilst working closely with mental health professionals in order to support vulnerable individuals.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 1 year experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
