Adult Social Work Team Manager, West London

Pay rate to £45ph

We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead, motivate, nurture, and manage a frontline team within the Adult Social Care Directorate. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of effective services that achieve positive outcomes for residents.

The role involves ensuring team services comply with current legislation, guidance, and policies, and maintaining practice standards, customer service, performance, and quality assurance.

The manager will promote a practice and culture that supports a strength-based, asset-based service model, with a focus on person-centered care and supporting independent living.

Overall responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day management and practice of the team will be held by the role holder, including streamlining processes and efficiently deploying resources.

The manager will establish and maintain local and borough-wide joint working relationships with service providers, partner agencies, and stakeholders, ensuring the needs of residents, carers, and families are considered in service development and delivery.

Line management responsibilities include supervising social workers, overseeing staff recruitment, retention, succession planning, and ensuring staffing aligns with Hammersmith and Fulham Council policies.

Additionally, the manager will oversee service delivery as part of a care pathway, ensuring high-quality services are provided within budget and to the satisfaction of residents and their families.
