About the Role

We are recruiting for an Adult Social Care Social Work Service Lead. This is a management role overseeing social workers and social care practitioners within our Bath Locality Service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Team and Service Management: Lead, develop, and manage adult social care teams, ensuring high-quality, efficient service delivery.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure services meet legal frameworks, such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, as well as local and national policies.
  • Safeguarding and Risk Management: Oversee the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and manage organizational risks related to service standards.
  • Service Improvement: Analyse data to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and monitor service provision.
  • Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies and external providers to meet adult needs.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role with real impact on service quality and outcomes.
