Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor – Full or Part time – Fully Remote – 3 months +

We are currently partnering with a well-regarded Local Authority that is seeking a Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their established and supportive team.

Position: Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor

Duration: 3 months +

Working Pattern: Full time or Part time

Working Arrangement: Fully Remote working

Competitive Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Adult Social Care matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Candidates must either hold a practicing certificate

Duties
  • Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, and Section 16, the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
  • Prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
  • Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required (online hearings)
