Job summary

Un cabinet juridique dynamique recherche un avocat spécialisé en droit social pour adultes sur une base locum au sein d'une équipe juridique accueillante dans une municipalité londonienne. Ce rôle de trois mois pourrait être prolongé selon les besoins du projet. Les candidats doivent être titulaires d'un certificat de praticien valide et avoir une expérience dans le secteur public, avec une spécialisation en droit social.

Qualifications

• Avocat qualifié avec spécialisation en droit social.
• Expérience post-qualification dans le secteur public.
• Expérience dans des organisations publiques ou autorités locales requise.

Responsibilities

• Conseiller sur toutes les questions liées au droit social pour adultes, y compris la protection judiciaire.
• Préparer et participer à des plaidoiries si souhaité.
• Représenter la municipalité et des clients externes.

Are you a driven social care law specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of a Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.

Requirements:

• Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
• Specialism within Adult Social Care Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
• Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Advising on all matters of adult social care law, including court of protection
• Advising on areas of law such as the Mental Capacity Act, deputyship
• Attending and preparing for advocacy, advocacy is not a prerequisite for this role, but you can do if you like
• Representing the Borough and external clients as appropriate
• Deputise for senior members of the legal team as appropriate
