Responsibilities

• Adviser sur toutes les questions de droit social pour adultes, y compris la cour de protection.
• Préparation et présence aux audiences, non obligatoire mais proposée.
• Représentation de la municipalité et des clients externes si nécessaire.

Are you a driven social care law specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of a Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.

Requirements:

• Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
• Specialism within Adult Social Care Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
• Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Advising on all matters of adult social care law, including court of protection
• Advising on areas of law such as the Mental Capacity Act, deputyship
• Attending and preparing for advocacy, advocacy is not a prerequisite for this role, but you can do if you like
• Representing the Borough and external clients as appropriate
• Deputise for senior members of the legal team as appropriate
