Adult Senior Social Worker Safeguarding #0009F5301

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

MUST HAVE ADULT SAFEGUARDING EXPERIENCE

An agency social worker is required for our locality safeguarding team, 37 hrs. The successful candidate would need to be experienced in completing safeguarding inquiries involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation for adults aged 18 years and over. The role involves communicating and collaborating with various agencies, such as the police, housing, and health professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safeguarding and legal procedures, including Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP), the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights 1998, and the Care Act 2014. You should uphold strong social work values that guide your practice to achieve the best outcomes for individuals.

The role requires working a minimum of three days in the office.

Essential criteria:

  1. Degree in Social Work
  2. SWE Registration
  3. Right to work within the UK

Additional requirements:

  1. A professional qualification in social work
  2. Social Work England registration
  3. Enhanced DBS/Update service
  4. References for the last 5 years of employment
