Job summary

Randstad Education near Cranleigh, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Adult SEN Learning Support Assistant to support autistic adults in a day-service setting. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a stable routine and emphasis on building independence and life skills.

The role requires a warm, resilient individual who can manage complex needs, provide compassionate personal care, and help learners track progress in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care or SEN (personal or voluntary experience fully counts).
• A warm, positive demeanor with emotional resilience.
• A valid driving licence with reliable commute to Cranleigh area.

• Support autistic adults across varied daily tasks in the community cafe, training kitchen, and outdoor garden.

About the Setting

Situated near Cranleigh, Surrey, this modern adult day centre focuses on empowering autistic individuals aged 18 and above. The setting provides excellent facilities designed to encourage real-world learning, including a community café, a dedicated training kitchen, and a vibrant outdoor horticultural centre. The environment is supportive, structured, and centered entirely on helping learners build confidence and autonomy in their day-to-day lives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
