Situated near Cranleigh, Surrey, this modern adult day centre focuses on empowering autistic individuals aged 18 and above. The setting provides excellent facilities designed to encourage real-world learning, including a community café, a dedicated training kitchen, and a vibrant outdoor horticultural centre. The environment is supportive, structured, and centered entirely on helping learners build confidence and autonomy in their day-to-day lives.
Support autistic adults across varied daily tasks in the community café, training kitchen, and outdoor garden.
Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with a calm, positive, and gentle approach.
Provide respectful, dignified intimate personal care to ensure each learner feels safe and comfortable.
Monitor and record learner progress using a structured, supportive approach to celebrate every milestone achieved.
Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in care or SEN (personal or voluntary experience fully counts).
Characteristics: A warm, positive demeanor with the emotional resilience to stay calm under pressure.
Transport & Commute: A valid driving licence and reliable commute to the Cranleigh area.
