Team Manager
Team: Adults MASH

Rate: £45.53

We are looking for a Team Manager to work in the council's adult safeguarding team, working collaboratively with operational services and other agencies to ensure a robust, timely and appropriate response to safeguarding concerns and Section 42 Enquiries.

The Team Manager will lead a team that includes Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers, and Care Navigators, ensuring timely workflow within the team. Responsibilities include ensuring practice is Care Act 2014 compliant, leading, managing, and supporting the team to provide a high-quality, effective, and efficient safeguarding and social care service to adults and their carers in Wirral.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing leadership and professional supervision to the team.
  2. Giving direction and maintaining practice standards.
  3. Achieving performance targets and promoting continuous professional development.
  4. Ensuring structures, systems, and processes are in place to meet statutory duties, legislative responsibilities, and KPIs.
