Job description

About the role

We are seeking a Support Worker to empower young adults attending our adult day service at InFocus. Currently, 17 young adults utilize our service weekly. Your role will be to provide person-centred, high-quality care, supporting them to make decisions, achieve personal goals, and develop or maintain daily living skills within a supportive community care setting.

InFocus will support you with a comprehensive, bespoke induction programme and mandatory training to ensure a strong start and understanding of your responsibilities.

We offer opportunities for personal development. If you do not already have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, we will fund and support your enrolment and training for this qualification, which is a role requirement.

About you

You should enjoy engaging in activities like arts and crafts, singing, and trying new recipes. A love for storytelling and gardening is also beneficial. It’s important to be passionate, committed to providing support, and to have a positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Working pattern

The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:30. Part-time hours are available. The service closes during Easter and Christmas holidays, so annual leave will be required during these periods.
