Adult Social Care Lawyer - London Borough Council

A London Borough Council is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. The role is initially for 6 months with hybrid working (1 day in the office per week). Please find below further details regarding the position.

The Role of the Adult Care Lawyer
  1. Manage and progress full caseloads related to Adult Social Care Law, Education, and Employment.
  2. Handle matters including mental health, community care, judicial reviews, and service users with no recourse to public funds.
  3. Provide legislative advice, litigation, and advocacy services on behalf of the council.
  4. Ensure all work complies with relevant client requirements and professional standards.
The Person
  1. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
  2. At least 12 months' experience in Adult Social Care law case management.
  3. Previous public sector experience is highly desirable.
  4. Competitive rates of pay.
