Job description

Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Exeter (Hybrid)

Role: Permanent, Part/Full-time available

Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start: ASAP

Our client is an award-winning, NHS-approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, criminal and family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases.

The Role

This is an exciting role within a busy service, focusing on assessments for adults. It is a hybrid position for qualified clinicians in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, primarily conducting autism and/or ADHD assessments. Some tasks may be performed remotely, but travel to the Exeter base is required.

The responsibilities include conducting comprehensive specialist assessments, utilizing established diagnostic tools for autism and ADHD, writing timely and professional assessment reports, and providing recommendations and interventions. Depending on experience, the clinician may also supervise and support junior staff members.

Qualifications / Must Haves
  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Experience in diagnostic neurodevelopmental and developmental assessments for adults
  • Knowledge of assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  • ADOS-2 / ADI-R trained
