Job summary

Lyreco is seeking an HGV Driver with ADR Licence to join our Telford team. Based at our Telford site, you will deliver products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK, with national coverage and occasional overnight stays.

Key duties include safe vehicle operations, ADR compliance, vehicle checks and accurate delivery documentation, while delivering a professional, customer-focused service and working with transport, warehouse and distribution teams.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (HGV C+E) driving licence.
• A valid ADR Licence appropriate to the role.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Experience in HGV driving and a good understanding of UK road networks.
• A professional and positive approach to customer service.
• The flexibility to undertake national deliveries and overnight stays when required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a company HGV vehicle in line with Lyreco procedures.
• Delivering products to customers across the UK with national coverage.

• Ensuring goods are transported, handled and delivered safely.

• Working with transport, warehouse and distribution teams.
• Representing Lyreco positively while on the road.

Based at our Telford site, you'll play an important role in delivering products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK. The role will involve national coverage, including some overnight stays, as well as the delivery of additional bulk loads from our Telford operation.

• Safely operating a company HGV vehicle in line with all relevant legislation and Lyreco procedures.
• Making deliveries to customers across the UK, with the flexibility to undertake national coverage.
• Delivering additional bulk loads from our Telford site.
• Completing some overnight deliveries/stays as required by the operation.
• Ensuring all goods are transported, handled and delivered safely and securely.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Completing all relevant delivery documentation accurately.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at every delivery.
• Complying with ADR requirements when transporting applicable goods.
• Working collaboratively with the wider transport, warehouse and distribution teams.
• Representing Lyreco and our values positively while out on the road.
