Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd is hiring a Cylinder Class 2 ADR Driver at the Bristol Cylinder Distribution Centre. The role runs Mon-Fri starting at 7am with a Saturday rota during peak periods. You will deliver essential energy to customers and play a vital part in keeping their supply safe, warm and informed.

Eligible candidates must hold a CAT C licence, a valid ADR Tank certificate and Class 2 Tank/Packaged Goods ADR. You’ll follow tachograph rules and be flexible on hours, including some weekends and

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CAT C licence.
• ADR Vocational Training Certificate.
• Minimum ADR Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods.
• Knowledge of tachographs and driver hours legislation.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cylinders to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain tachographs and comply with driver hours rules.
• Complete vehicle checks and safe loading/unloading.
• Support occasional weekend/holiday rosters as required.

• Must hold a current (CAT C) licence.


• A current ADR Vocational Training Certificate.


• Minimum ADR requirement is Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods.


• You should be fully conversant with tachographs and driver hour's legislation, in addition to the details contained within Calor's LGV driver’s manual.


• You will need to always demonstrate a high level of safety awareness.


• Customer focused, you should have a flexible approach to your hours of work and be prepared to work weekends and public holidays as required to meet the needs of the business.
