Are you an experienced ADR-qualified driver looking to join a respected, safety-first logistics team? We're hiring Distribution Drivers to deliver gas products safely and efficiently across the UK, with a focus on local routes and occasional national coverage.

This is more than just a driving job - it's a long-term opportunity within a supportive team offering structured development, generous benefits, and recognition for your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily scheduled checks on the vehicle before and after deliveries, logging and reporting any damages or defects

  • Ensure full compliance with UK transport laws, including tachographs, driving hours, and accurate record keeping

  • Inspect customer sites to confirm compliance with safety standards, signage, and general upkeep (e.g. paintwork, fences, shrubbery)

  • Maintain regular communication with Logistics Planners, especially when reporting delays, disruptions, or stock issues

  • Carry documentation confirming driver competency and authorisation; ensure vehicle displays all required HAZCHEM signs and written instructions

  • Produce a completed meter ticket for each delivery, clearly showing the quantity of gas delivered, and obtain customer signature where possible

  • Load and discharge vehicles in line with HSE protocols, ensuring no customer tank is filled beyond 85% capacity

  • Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays

  • Report any competitor activity to the Area Operations Supervisor

  • Attend and complete any company-provided training necessary to support your role

What We're Looking For:

  • Full UK driving licence (appropriate category)

  • ADR Licence (Core, Tanks & Class 2)

  • Knowledge of PPE, HSE risks, and safe operating procedures

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Calm, reliable, and adaptable - particularly in seasonal or high-pressure environments

What You'll Get in Return:

  • 36,995 base salary

  • Additional pay for on-call shifts (weekends and bank holidays)

  • Discretionary annual bonus

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)

  • 6% employer pension contribution (increasing with service)

  • Private Bupa healthcare & dental cover

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

  • 4x salary life assurance

  • Critical illness cover

  • Enhanced maternity, paternity & sick pay

  • Retail discount scheme

  • Salary sacrifice car scheme

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • Structured training and career development

  • A supportive, safety-first logistics environment
