Job summary

Brenntag UK & Ireland is recruiting drivers based at our London depot to handle the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You will follow planned schedules and adhere to operational procedures.

The role requires HGV Class 1 or 2 with CPC, ADR certification, and a strong customer focus with good communication to customers and management. Training and development opportunities are provided, with on-site parking available.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 License with CPC training.
• ADR certificate essential (all classes except 1 & 7).
• Multi-drop experience is highly useful.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to communicate with customers and management.

Responsibilities

Brenntag UK & Ireland (part of the global Brenntag Group) is the market leader in specialty, bulk and packaged chemical distribution. We are recruiting drivers to be based out of our London depot where you’ll be responsible for the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. What we’re looking for:

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 License (with C+E/C Entitlement), along with current driver CPC training
• Multi-drop experience - extremely useful
• ADR certificate essential (all classes less 1 & 7)
• A strong customer focus and the ability to communicate with customers and management, to deliver the product safely
• Ability to demonstrate great awareness of drivers’ hours legislation and good record keeping skills
• You to contribute to the safe operational effectiveness and efficiency of the depot, through following procedures and working as part of a team, to effect on time deliveries
