Job summary
Lincolnshire County Council in Lincolnshire is seeking a Practice Supervisor in Adoption to lead a small team of social care professionals and shape the delivery of adoption services across the county. Qualifications
- Must be a registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
- Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in social care.
- Experience in adoption services or kinship care preferred.
- Commitment to safeguarding and family support.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Social Workers, Family Help workers and Child and Family Officers.
- Collaborate with the wider children’s social care team to develop the Adoption service.
- Oversee Adoption and Special Guardianship support funds and related therapy services.
- Develop local, regional and pan-regional innovations, including peer support.
- Engage with Adoption England and support birth families and those in contact with adoptees.
- Utilise Signs of Safety daily to empower staff and families to find solutions.
