Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust at Pebble Lodge, a purpose-built 10-bed general adolescent unit (ages 13–18), seeks an Activity Co-ordinator to support discharge pathways and run a structured activity programme for young people with acute mental health needs.

You will work with Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Psychology teams to deliver inpatient care, organise groups and contribute to rehabilitation, while driving to access external services as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with people from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds.
• Genuine desire to support young people with their mental health.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care using national quality standards and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Organise, co-ordinate and deliver a wide range of client-focused groups.
• Support the inpatient MDT and assist with discharge planning.
• Drive to work-related appointments and transport patients as required.
