Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm (Monday to Friday) and a requirement to working evenings and weekends and some public holidays as per a rota, over 7 days, to provide a flexible and responsive service, including on-call arrangements.
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Starting salary £49,764 (Level One) rising to £52,805 (Level Four) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

About the Role
Nottingham City Youth Justice Service are recruiting for a new Adolescence Team Manager. The post holder is responsible for service delivery within the Youth Justice Service, managing the assessment, planning, coordination and delivery of city-wide youth justice, early help and crime prevention services in relation to children, young people and their families.
You will take responsibility for the team’s overall performance, driving service improvement and development to promote a culture of continual improvement in the quality, diversity, and performance management of services by setting SMART targets, ensuring safe practice, robust assessments, management of risk, safeguarding, and effective evidence-based interventions.
You will lead the delivery of high-quality services and provide reflective case supervision and expertise to colleagues to develop excellent evidence-based practice through a robust performance management and quality assurance framework within a multi-disciplinary team including seconded staff from partner agencies.
You will work innovatively and collaboratively with other partners from statutory and community provisions across the city to ensure high standards of public protection and safeguarding to reduce the level of risk and impact of youth offending on children, families and communities.
You will deputise for the Service manager as required and support the Service manager in service planning activities, reviewing the service to ensure effective service delivery, value for public money and potential efficiencies maximised.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
- The role requires you to participate in the on call rota.
