Adobe Experience Platform CDP Developer (Day Rate Contract Inside IR35)

This is a key technical role within the Marketing MSP team. The department is responsible for the Marketing Operations for all of European division. This role will work across all subsidiaries and partners throughout the role holder's time within the business, though will have a focus on supporting the European Office requirements.

As an Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Developer specialising in Customer Data Platform (CDP), you will play a pivotal role in our European Centre of Excellence. Your deep understanding of Adobe Campaign, coupled with expertise in AEP CDP, will empower us to build a unified customer view and deliver personalized experiences at scale. You will also contribute to product roadmap development and provide architectural support, ensuring that our martech stack aligns with our business objectives.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • AEP CDP Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on Adobe Experience Platform CDP, guiding European subsidiaries on implementation, integration, and optimization strategies.
  • Data Ingestion and Management: Architect and implement robust data ingestion processes, leveraging your Adobe Campaign knowledge to integrate customer interaction data seamlessly into AEP CDP.
  • Unified Customer Profiles: Design and implement a comprehensive data model within AEP CDP to create a single source of truth for customer data.
  • Audience Segmentation and Activation: Develop sophisticated audience segments based on real-time and historical data, enabling targeted marketing campaigns across channels.
  • Personalization and Journey Orchestration: Leverage AEP CDP's capabilities to deliver personalized experiences across the customer journey, leveraging your understanding of Adobe Campaign workflows.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize AEP CDP's analytics tools to derive actionable insights into customer behavior, campaign performance, and marketing ROI.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Partner with marketing, IT, and analytics teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of AEP CDP, sharing your Adobe Campaign expertise to enhance campaign execution.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Contribute to the development of our martech product roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Architectural Support: Provide architectural guidance to ensure that our martech stack is scalable, reliable, and aligned with our business goals.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge across Adobe Campaign (V7 and V8) and Adobe Experience Platform.

EDUCATION:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • AEP CDP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform CDP, including data modeling, segmentation, activation, and analytics.
  • Adobe Campaign Experience: Strong background in developing and executing email marketing campaigns using Adobe Campaign, with a deep understanding of its data integration capabilities.
  • Data Engineering Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques, with experience in data cleansing, transformation, and integration.
  • Passion for using data to drive customer-centric marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

Advantage -

  • Adobe Ecosystem Familiarity: Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Adobe Launch.
  • Tag Management Experience: Experience with Google Tag Manager or similar platforms.
  • Cloud Platform Exposure: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Azure.
  • BI Tools: Looker, PowerBI, Qlik
