Description
Assist with the management and provision of a fast, efficient, and welcoming service for all customers, internal and external. This role involves proactively pursuing student recruitment and conversion within the Central Admissions team, supervising and continuously improving the student recruitment and enrolment process, and providing support to junior colleagues.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and lead a designated team of Admissions staff, undertaking recruitment, selection, absence management, and 1-2-1 reviews. Take responsibility for allocation of duties, training, managing workloads, discipline, development, timekeeping, and approval of leave, ensuring compliance with College policies.
- Process student applications from initial enquiry to arrival, or relevant stages, within agreed standards of time and accuracy.
- Monitor and evaluate admissions and enrolment procedures to improve service quality, including involvement in wider student recruitment projects.
- Provide advice to applicants regarding course options and fee assessments. Assist in training Admissions Administrators on 19+ fees and funding, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of funding rules for 16-18 and adult students.
- Collaborate with the Registry Manager to ensure effective management of applicants at each stage, with timely communication of outcomes.
- Coordinate with curriculum staff to manage interview dates and changes, maintaining effective communication.
- Assist in planning and organising College enrolments, including managing curriculum timeslots and staffing, supporting on-site enrolments during peak periods.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data in the student records system related to applications and enrolments.
