Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health invites applications for the position of Admissions & Referral Clinician. Located in Norfolk Virginia, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is a leading community partner providing acute, residential, and Partial Hospitalization treatment for children and teens exhibiting behavioral and/or mental health concerns. The hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to children, adolescents, and their families. We provide evidence-based treatments in a supportive environment. Founded in 1986, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is an 82-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
Coordinates all aspects of the acute process from inquiry call through admission. Provides crisis intervention and evaluation services.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions or designee, the ARC coordinates all aspects of the acute process, from inquiry to admission. Work hours are 40 hours per week, from 10 pm to 8 am, Monday through Thursday.
Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, and lie for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and provide physical care to patients, including crisis intervention and CPR training.
