The role

Oxford High School is looking for a strategic, dynamic, and customer-focused individual to lead our busy admissions team across the School. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent girls’ schools in a pivotal role that combines operational leadership with strategic oversight.

As the Admissions Manager / Head of Admissions, you will oversee the entire admissions journey, leading a committed team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming admissions process for prospective pupils and their families. To achieve this, you will lead the development and implementation of a high-performing, customer-focused culture within the admissions function.

You will help increase enquiries, applications and conversion rates, by identifying and pursuing new markets and opportunities for student recruitment, locally, nationally and internationally. Additionally, you will monitor and refine the School's admissions policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with our values.

From planning and executing recruitment and admissions events to building strong relationships with feeder schools and families, you will draw on your strong communication skills to ensure all communications and interactions with Oxford High School reflects our values, high standards and commitment to excellence.

About you

You will bring proven leadership experience in admissions, marketing, customer service or business development, along with a strong track record of leadership and team management and excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

With a confident and professional approach to your work, you will be capable of fostering a positive and inclusive working culture, that champions collaboration and high standards in all areas of work.

Experience using CRM and admissions systems such as SIMS is essential, along with knowledge of safeguarding issues and how these relate to admissions activities within a school environment.
