The University of Manchester invites applications for a full-time Admissions Assistant to support student admissions processes and provide an excellent intro to the University for applicants and offer-holders. You will join a busy admissions team, handling applications, responding to enquiries, and assisting in events such as open days, visit days, interviews, and post-offer activities throughout August.

The Faculty of Science and Engineering seeks to appoint a full-time Admissions Assistant on a permanent basis. The role is to support our student admissions processes and ensure that our applicants and offer-holders have an excellent introduction to the University.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to be part of our admissions team supporting our applicants, working collaboratively in accordance with good customer service principles. Alongside processing applications and acting as a first point of contact for queries, you will also support open days and visit days (either on-campus or virtual), interviews and confirmation and clearing activities throughout August.
The post holder will have experience of working with administrative processes in a busy, target-led, customer-facing office environment, with the ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure. The role requires someone who thrives as part of a busy team, enjoys engaging with and supporting a wide range of people, and is flexible and responsive to customer needs. Strong attention to detail is essential, alongside the ability to follow policy, adapt to changing systems and processes, and communicate clearly and professionally.
