Job summary

Wight Healthcare is seeking a proactive receptionist to join the UTC reception team in Petersfield. The UTC operates 08:00–20:00 hours, 365 days a year, offering treatment for both minor injury and minor illness to adults and children, with NHS 111 pre-bookings and walk-ins.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our reception team.

We are a practitioner led service committed to delivering high quality care to the local population of Petersfield and the surrounding areas. The UTC operates 08:00 -- 20:00 hours, 365 days a year, offering treatment for both minor injury and minor illness to adults and children. Patients can pre-book appointments through NHS 111 as well as walk-in attendance.

Good communication skills are essential when dealing with patients both in person and via the telephone. A professional and sensitive manner is required to be always maintained. The post holder will be required to liaise with patients and therefore requires courtesy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
