Administrator – Transfer Agency (AML Team), London

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our AML team in London.

The role reports to the Associate Director, Funds and Corporate Services, and is based in London. It involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements within the TA team, conducting periodic reviews, and leading specialised projects to improve processes. The team comprises an Associate Director, Assistant Manager, Senior Administrators, and Administrators.

The Administrator will serve as a team contact within the AML Ring Fenced team and will be responsible for:

  • Providing oversight and quality control of the 1LOD function within TA teams, focusing on AML, CDD, and standard business processes, including periodic reviews.
  • Supporting the AML Referrals Team and Senior Management within TA and Funds departments.
  • Maintaining accurate Shareholder Registers for open-ended funds administered by JTC.
  • Responding to queries and requests from the TA team, ensuring quality control, policy adherence, and timely delivery of operational deadlines and client services.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and improve team processes through reviews and projects.
  • Assist in oversight of AML, CDD, and business processes.
  • Support AML referrals and senior management.
  • Maintain Shareholder Registers and respond to team queries.
  • Review and resolve complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate strong planning, organisation, and initiative.
  • Apply effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
  • Utilise MS Excel and other systems effectively.
  • Understand FCA/HMRC regulatory environment.
