A well-established, boutique independent financial planning firm based in rural Hampshire is looking to recruit an Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner to join their friendly and professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in financial planning who is looking to build a long-term career within the industry, with full training, mentoring and exam support provided.

About the Business

This is a successful, owner-managed financial planning firm providing holistic, client-focused advice to individuals and families. The business prides itself on high standards, strong client relationships and delivering a truly personal service.

They have an excellent reputation for training and progressing staff internally, with previous team members successfully advancing into Paraplanner and Chartered Financial Planner roles.

The Role

• Working as part of the support team, this is a hands-on, varied position that will involve both general administration and entry-level paraplanning duties. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Financial Planners and clients on a daily basis.
• This role has been specifically designed as a development opportunity, with structured training from day one.

Key responsibilities will include:

• General financial planning and office administration
• Supporting Financial Planners with client onboarding and servicing
• Assisting with basic paraplanning tasks and report preparation
• Maintaining client records and liaising with providers
• Communicating with clients in a professional and friendly manner

Training & Development

• Comprehensive 6-month training programme upon joining
• Ongoing coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job learning
• Full support to study towards the Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)
• Study support, exam fees covered, and study days provided
• Clear, proven progression pathway into Paraplanning and Adviser roles
