A progressive healthcare organization in England seeks an administrative support professional for Sussex MSK Health Services. The role involves managing office administration, handling patient appointments, and providing excellent communication with colleagues and clinicians. Ideal candidates will have strong time management, IT proficiency, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. 1. Provide efficient and effective administrative support to Sussex MSK Health Services.
2. Manage office administration, assist with documentation, and ensure all clerical aspects of the service run smoothly.
3. The successful candidate will have good time management, the ability to use their own initiative, and excellent attention to detail.
4. The candidate should be proactive, well-organized, a team player, capable of problem-solving, and able to work independently.
5. Proficiency in a variety of IT applications or the ability to learn them is essential.
6. Excellent command of the English language is required.
7. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are necessary for liaising with colleagues, clinicians, and IT support.
8. Handle incoming referrals by scanning, inputting data, answering patient calls, and performing other administrative duties.
9. Manage referral outcomes by answering calls, booking, amending, and cancelling appointments, and other admin tasks.
10. Monitor investigation waiting lists, liaise with clinicians, chase results, and perform related admin duties.
11. Perform other administrative tasks as required to keep the service operational.
12. This position does not include staffing responsibilities.
