Description

Administrator - Repairs and Maintenance

Location: Hybrid working; from home and our office in Welwyn Garden City with occasional travel to our office in the North East for training purposes

Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Salary: £24,638 per year plus Health Cash Plan and brilliant benefits!

We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join our Repairs and Maintenance team as an Administrator. You’ll provide excellent administrative support, keep systems up to date, drive productivity, and deliver excellent customer service to support our promise of providing a reliable repairs service.

Typical day as an Administrator

  • Ensure all systems contain accurate, real-time information, such as maintenance works required on our customers’ homes, and highlight when job volumes exceed available resources.
  • Use our works order management and other systems to update materials, equipment, and subcontractor orders.
  • Deliver high-quality work, whether providing general admin support or assisting scheduling teams to assign work to trade operatives.

You have

  • Previous administration experience, ideally in a fast-paced repairs and maintenance environment or with good knowledge of repairs and maintenance if not.
  • Good knowledge of or ability to use workforce planning systems.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexible approach, initiative, and good judgment.
  • Proficiency with technology and online systems.

  • This is a hybrid role, working from Welwyn Garden City and home.
  • Typical hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to discuss other patterns.
  • Use technology for system updates, admin support, online learning, and collaboration.
