Main duties of the job

Your role will involve supporting the patient pathway and collaborating with administration and clinical teams to enhance patient experience and service delivery.

You will support efficient administration processes, including appointment booking, referral registration, caseload management, post-clinic actions, lone working procedures, and onward referrals to other providers.

This may involve using various systems, such as e-referral and our electronic notes system (EMIS).

You will liaise with colleagues, patients, and external contacts regarding complex messages and patient queries, including sensitive information, to ensure smooth service operation.

You will need to adapt your communication style and employ problem-solving skills as appropriate.

You may also support admin rotas, assist new and existing colleagues, and contribute to audits and data quality improvements.
