Due to continued growth, our client, a leading Construction Consultancy, is looking for an experienced Office Administrator/Office Manager to join their vibrant Manchester office. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 5+ years of experience in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have a background in a similar administrative role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
  2. Managing phone and email enquiries.
  3. Supporting office events, local marketing, and social calendar management.
  4. Maintaining records, CRM systems, and HR systems (experience with Unit4 is beneficial).
  5. Scheduling and attending meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  6. Organising travel and accommodation for staff.
  7. Diary management and coordination across teams.
  8. Liaising with internal departments and external contacts.
  9. Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  10. Handling incoming and outgoing post.
  11. Organising and storing paperwork, documents, and digital records.
  12. Leading CSR, cultural, and team-building initiatives.
  13. Occasionally providing administrative support to other UK offices as needed.
  14. Assisting with financial reporting, invoicing, and purchase order management.
Skills & Experience Required
  1. Experience in Professional Services, Consulting, Construction, Property, or Engineering administration is highly desirable.
  2. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
