We’re looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our friendly and Diabetes & Nutrition Services (DANS) team at The John Milton Clinic, Henbury or Castlewood, Clevedon.

Diabetes & Nutrition Services (DANS) include our Diabetes, Nutrition and Dietetic teams, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

Our team provides expert support, education and guidance to individuals with diabetes and their carers, empowering them to manage their condition and live healthier lives. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including clinics, remotely, or during domiciliary visits.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our Diabetes & Nutrition Service. You will work within a collaborative administrative team to provide flexible, efficient and professional support to our Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Dietitians.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling referrals and appointment bookings

Managing patient records and correspondence

Acting as a key point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare professionals

Supporting the day-to-day running of clinics and services across the BNSSG area

  • NVQ 3 in administration, or equivalent demonstrable experience
