Care Home Administrator at Wood Care Group

Working at Wood Care Group as a Care Home Administrator, you will report to the home manager to effectively organise and manage all administrative and accounts matters related to the home.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to emails and writing/typing minute notes from meetings.
  2. Scanning and photocopying documents.
  3. Assisting with day-to-day tasks to support the running of the home.
  4. Supporting payroll preparation by providing relevant data such as absences, expenses, and leaves.
  5. Organising events, including catering, Employee of the Month, and newsletters.
  6. Assisting with onboarding new staff, scheduling induction days, and setting up on Care Control and Correct Care systems.
  7. Managing staff files and supporting HR with employee information and documentation.
  8. Liaising with Head Office Accounts Team regarding fees, admissions, and occupancy.
  9. Attending staff meetings and maintaining personal and professional development.
  10. Ensuring compliance with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
  11. Performing any other ad hoc tasks as required.
