Overview

Administrator / Administration Assistant with excellent administrative, communication and organisation skills and good experience of Excel, Word and Google Mail/Documents is required to join a well-established Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.

SALARY: £24,796.00 per annum FTE (Grade B), Actual Annual Salary £17,243.52 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire (SO30)

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent (term time only)

WORKING HOURS: 30 Hours per Week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm or 9:00am – 3:30pm (term time only - 39 weeks)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Administration Assistant with excellent administrative, communication and organisation skills and good experience of Excel, Word and Google Mail/Documents.

Working as an Administrator / Administration Assistant you will join the friendly, busy office team and will be able to relate positively to students and staff, be efficient, organised and calm under pressure.

As the Administrator / Administration Assistant you will support the smooth running of all aspects of the school administration processes and day to day running of the school

Duties
  • Keep Year trackers up to date in excel
  • Maintain the school website
  • Maintain the school calendars that are displayed on website
  • Provide WP/SIMS support (training provided)
  • Provide Edulink support (training provided)
  • Deal with enquiries from staff and students quickly and efficiently
  • Assist in maintaining an efficient filing system
  • Hold a First Aid certificate and support/deputise for First Aid room as necessary
  • Provide back-up support for Reception/staff absence
  • Use SIMS to print timetables, reports, etc. as required
  • Such other duties may be reasonably allocated or directed within the purview of the post
  • Setting up the regular Assessments for staff inputting
  • Collating and analysing the data from the students regular Assessments
  • Creating charts and graphs for various data analysis
Candidate Requirements
  • Have excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills
  • Computer literate - an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Mail/Documents is essential
  • Able to communicate face to face, via email, telephone and text message
  • Be discrete and able to respect confidentiality and understand safeguarding procedures
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Able to relate positively to students and staff
  • Be pleasant and professional as well as being able to remain calm under pressure
